A well watered harvest

“Cast now your bread on many waters for surely I tell you they teem with life.” A thousand ripples stir the evening calm. giving light across the sea. The evening stars foretell promise of a day when earth, sea and sky shall be filled with the lights of heaven.

“Fear not then, for I tell you that what in weakness you sow, every lost fragment; bread— at the altar broken in my name, I will gather up.  Not forgotten, calling forth things that are not as though they are— a well watered harvest, springing up like palm trees for reviving the weary, those in pilgrimage to Zion.”
