Let us rise.
Let us rise and rise and rise
Again and again and again,
Till lambs become lions.
Let us rise.

Heaven’s surprises
I am looking for Heaven’s surprises
Where in my waiting heart
Hope surprises with
More than enough
Love to pass
On the way
Of faith.
Building on the rock
In days of trouble
When fierce rains fall
Raging floods come
And rushing winds blow
The righteous stay standing
For on the rock their lives are built.
Underneath their feet
Everlasting arms
Hold them firm
Before God.
Increasing glory
Like the morning dawn
Is the path of the righteous
Which in brightness grows
Till the fullness of Day.
Testimonies of the gospel
Let us thank God
Through the Spirit, in the name of Jesus.
In us God is building testimonies
For upcoming sharings
Of His faithfulness to us
His missionary people
Justified by His Spirit
For the proclaiming
Of his gospel.
Where “gospel” =
Proclaiming God’s covenant-faithfulness
Shown through the “faithfulness of” Jesus,
Who by the Spirit effected God’s victory
Over all enslaving powers;
Now calling everyone to His Lordship,
That through receiving His Spirit
We are justified as
His missionary people
To call all people
To the gospel
For the healing of creation.
I will sing
I will sing, of God’s love,
With my mouth, I make known,
Your faithfulness— for ever.
The heavens praise your wonders;
You rule the surging sea;
You crush our enemies;
You justice holds us firm;
I will sing, of God’s love,
With my mouth, I make known,
Your faithfulness— for ever.
Meditation on Psalm 89.
Take up the spear
“Take up the spear from where it has fallen.
For like the eagle in latter days
I will renew your strength.
Young men faint and grow weary,
But I will renew your strength.
I give you the spirit of my servant Caleb.
Stand before every river and call out to the God of Elijah.
Take up the spear— and hold forth the Word of Life.”
Take up the spear from where it has fallen.
I will shod your feet with the gospel of peace.
Your chest I emblazon with the shield of faith;
Your head I anoint with the helmet of full salvation.
Take up the spear— and hold forth the Word of Life.”
The poor shall reign
Who is like the Lord on high
Whose glory fills the heavens
To raise the poor
To reign with Him
Through all
Creation.
Dreams from Pentecost
Through Pentecost
The dreams of God call us;
Beyond what we can hope or ask
They call us forth to all creation—
They call us forth to the mission of God.
Freely give.
“Freely you have received, freely give.”
The counsel of Jesus sets us free from fears of being taken advantage of.
That is a fear that keeps us from being a blessing, and receiving in turn– something more.
Remember, renovate, ressurect
Come Holy Spirit, Lord, Giver of Life.
Remember the poor who hope in You.
Renovate all dreams birthed in the footprints of Jesus.
Resurrect all fallen seed— with the hundredfold blessing.
