1 April 10 Lent reflection: On the cross he cried, “My God why have you forsaken me?” Yet God is present in His apparent absence. In that apparent absence, the world will smugly mock you. But God is with you, even in your cry of dereliction. He drank the full dreg of your pain. When morning comes, you will proclaim His righteousness to a people not yet born.
